The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall was built in the 1930s and stands today as a Grade II listed building. The distinctive, Art Deco style Liverpool Philharmonic Hall has a seated capacity of 1,790, and plays host to around 250 events each year.The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is most quickly associated with classical music. Indeed of the numerous events held at the venue annually, close to half are of a classical nature - no doubt largely due to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall being home to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestra. However, the remainder of those events taking place at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall represent a diverse cross section of the performing arts - everything from pop and contemporary rock music, to jazz, blues and stand-up comedy.
